For those of you not following the Westborough twitter feed, here's a copy of last night's tweets.  Some of the wording (passes,carries, etc.) may not be the correct formal language, and please note that this is not the official record.  Westborough.com is responsible for any errors in reporting.  We will follow-up with any corrections that may be necessary once we receive the official record.

• ARTICLE 18. Local Option Room Occupancy Tax Amendment (Board of Selectmen). PASSES 133 for 102 opposed.
• ARTICLE 16. Local Option Meal Excise Tax Increase (Board of Selectmen). DEFEATED. 132 favor 137 opposition (!!!)
• ARTICLE 15. Special Education Costs (School Committee). PASSES, majority vote.
• ARTICLE 14. Westborough Country Club Capital Improvements (Country Club Operating Committee). PASSES, majority vote.
• ARTICLE 13. Work on Town Sewer System (DPW Manager) [Rebuilding Longmeadow Sewer Pump Station]. PASSES with 2/3 vote.
• ARTICLE 12. Warren Street Drainage Improvement (DPW Manager). PASSES with a majority vote
• ARTICLE 12. Warren Street Drainage Improvement (DPW Manager). MOTION on amendment to remove "emminent domain" FAILS. 158 for 205 opposed
• ARTICLE 11. Abandoned and Foreclosed Property Registration (Board of Selectmen). Motion FAILS for lack of a majority.
• ARTICLE 10. Public Shade Trees Bylaw (Board of Selectmen). Motion carries by a majority vote.
• ARTICLE 9. Amendment of Article 12 (Hawkers Peddlers Permit) Bylaw (Assistant Town Manager). PASSES unanimously.
• To clarify last tweet, Article 8 is indeed "defeated" by the motion to pass over.
• Town mtg update: ARTICLE 8. Public Safety Complex (Municipal Building Committee). Motion to PASS OVER - carries by majority vote.
• Town mtg update: Article 7: ... transfer the sum... [total of $71,043.72]...to the FY2010 Sewer Expense Budget. Motion carries.
• Town mtg update: ARTICLE 6. Removal of a Liquor License Requirement (Citizen’s Petition). Motion carries by a majority vote.
• Town mtg update: ARTICLE 5. Design and Permit Opticom Traffic Controllers (Fire Chief). Motion carries by a majority vote.
• Town mtg update: ARTICLE 4. FY10 Water Budget Amendment – Electricity (Town Manager). PASSES unanimously.
