Tavolino Celebrates Grand Opening with a Toast!

Tavolino Italian Gourmet celebrated their Grand Opening this past Wednesday with a complimentary toast of one of their signature drinks and an antipasto spread for all to enjoy.  Tavolino had a "soft opening" on Columbus Day back on October and kicked off their Grand Opening with a bang including live music, check presentations to the Boys and Girls Club for $3,600, and the Westborough Food Pantry for $3,000 as well as being presented with a notarized thank you certificate from Karyn Polito, the State of Massachusetts Representative.

Tavolino’s soft opening, as many may know, was not advertised and they have discussed with many of their diners what exactly a soft opening in the restaurant business is composed of.  Tavolino had a temporary certificate of occupancy and their liquor license was approved, their kitchen was 100% complete for food service, but the aesthetics in the dining room, such as the booths, custom tables, and artwork, were not arriving until this past week.  They had decided to open their doors to the general public, but wanted to wait to advertise to the town until their restaurant was entirely complete.  As a business strategy, Tavolino wanted to ensure that once they advertised to the surrounding communities, they were putting their best foot forward.

Tavolino also celebrated their Grand Opening of brunch on Sunday’s from 9am – 2pm.  They are going to be serving brunch weekly starting November 22nd, as well as providing live entertainment on Wednesday and Friday evenings beginning the first week of December.

Tavolino’s General Manager Anthony R. Valletta had been interviewed by local papers such a Westborough News, and the Metrowest Daily and was excited to be conducting business in him home town, “It is great to be back in my home town, I look forward to being able to give back to a community that we hope to be a large part of in the years to come.”

Tavolino is open daily for lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on Sunday’s, live entertainment Wednesday and Friday nights and a bar that is open late!  Tavolino welcomes Westborough and the surrounding communities with open arms and hopes they can provide the area with another choice for diners to choose from when dining out.
