On Saturday, December 12, 2009, the Town of Westborough is holding a walkability workshop.
The event, which is being run by the Central Massachusetts Planning Commission, will be held in room 23 of the Forbes Municipal Building, and it will run from 9am to 12pm.

The event will be broken into three distinct activities:

1. An initial discussion of motorist/pedestrian/cyclist issues in the downtown area;

2. A walking tour of the downtown area to examine the walkability of the area; and

3. A short discussion of the areas in need of attention, using blown up pictures of the downtown area, and a discussion of potential short and long term solutions.

The event is open to the public, and light refreshments will be served. Please come for all or part of the workshop. For additional information, go to www.town.westborough.ma.us
