Lake Chauncy

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 21.6 square miles (56.0 km²),of which, 20.5 square miles (53.1 km²) of it is land and 1.1 square miles (2.8 km²) of it is water or 5.09 percent. The average elevation of the town is approximately 300 feet (91 m). The town contains numerous bodies of water, including Lake Chauncy, Mill Pond, Lake Hoccomocco, and the Westborough Reservoir. Lake Chauncy is open to swimming, boating, and fishing, and has a public beach open to residents of the town during the summer months.

Westborough is located in Central Massachusetts, located about 29 miles (47 km) west of Boston and 12 miles (19 km) east of Worcester.

It is bordered by six towns:
  • Grafton
  • Hopkinton
  • Northborough
  • Shrewsbury
  • Southborough
  • Upton

mike, very neat info on the town.
some of the interesting historic sites, i never knew. i am not a native, but close to it. have been a barber in westboro for 43 years now.
the web site is very informative to both new people and residents.
keep up the good reporting. it is a lot of time for you to spend on this site. maybe some day it will make you rich!!
