PRESS RELEASE

The Westborough Police Department is working in conjunction with the Friends of Westborough Seniors, which is located at the Westborough Senior Center, to solicit contributions to assist residents this winter with fuel assistance.

Any resident who wants to make a monetary contribution can make a check out to Friends of Westborough Seniors, c/o Westborough Senior Center, 4 Rogers Road, Westborough.

Thank you for posting this. I would love to see this site provide a listing of local agencies that can help those in need. With the downturn in the economy and cold temperatures, many people are looking for help this winter. I just heard that a $1 donation to the food bank is worth $4 in food. We need to get the word out and help our neighbors.
