Have you heard of candidate Matt Beaton?
Have you heard of Matt Beaton? I'm sure you will, if you're in Westborough precincts 1 and 4.
Since Karyn Polito is running for State Treasurer, this opens up the seat for State Representative in the 11th Worcester District (Westborough Pcts 1 and 4, and Shrewsbury). One candidate (the only?) is Matt Beaton of Shrewsbury. See excerpts from his campaign kick-off rally and speech on YouTube:

"Historic" -- that's what the news this evening called our March rainfall this year.
I'd like to compile a list of "Westborough flood incidents" from this Spring, and create a visual record of them using Google maps, like this example.
Maybe this data will help our town planners.
Have you had or seen flood damage this spring? If so and you'd like to contribute, please send the address or a description of the location to: flooding@westborough.com.
As we receive data, we will post an image to this article. Many, many thanks!
Site Update - comment layout changed - most recent, first
We've had a request to change how commenting works on articles. Now, comments are presented with most recent comment shown first, rather than last. (Think: less scrolling!)
This unfortunately removes the possibility of "threaded" comments, but readers may find this new layout to have more value. Please let us know what you think. Why... try out a comment for yourself, below!
