Chabad of Westborough was established by Rabbi Michoel and Dvora Green based on the principle of providing a rich traditional Jewish home that could be enjoyed by everyone in the community.

The word Chabad is a Hebrew acronym for the three intellectual faculties of Wisdom, Comprehension, and Knowledge:

* Chochmah - חכמה
* Binah - בינה
* Da'at - דעת

These three principles guide us and help us to refine our actions and feelings. Chabad's system of Jewish religious philosophy—the deepest dimension of G-d's Torah—teaches understanding and recognition of the creator, and the importance and unique mission of each creature. 		468
