FraggleLove  - Chic asian cuisine: The Hisa   |Author |2010-04-05 05:22:59
Set in down town Westborough, across from Christina's cafe on South street, sits a big green door that leads to exotic delectable meals. The Hisa is large, and airy, beautifully decorated, with a classy almost boston swank ambience. The food is reasonably priced, but what you get is worth more then what you are paying for. Sushi, tempura, bento, done so extravagantly, in mouth watering displays. The wait staff is professional polite, and attentive. When you eat in at the Hisa you feel like your the only customer that matters. When you take out from the Hisa you'll never be disappointed. The restaurant is family owned, very clean, and luxurious enough for big business meetings. Their selections of both sushi and drinks are truly diverse. The bathroom can be a little awkward to get to, but it is clean, and private. There is plenty of parking both out front and along side the building. If you want to impress someone, take them to the Hisa.
FraggleLove  - Christina's cafe, a diner with taste.   |Author |2010-04-05 05:23:18
Down near the middle of town, just up past the White Hen pantry, on South st, you will find a diner with big portions of tasty food, for small amounts of cash. Christina's cafe is open most days till 2, and on Fridays till 9. They serve breakfast all the time, but also have a wonderful variety of lunches. There is a lovely quaint and cozy bar, plenty of seating for both big and small parties, with a comfortable almost family like atmosphere. The food is delicious, made just the way you want it, the staff is quick, polite, and friendly. The rest rooms are large and very clean. There's parking out front and down back. This is just the place to bring your budget conscious family. I know of no other place to spend 20 dollars and happily feed three people.
FraggleLove  - New feel, old time respect: Tatnuck Cafe.   |Author |2010-04-05 05:23:58
If your hungry and or thirsty in Westborough then look no further, the Tatnuck cafe on Lyman st will have what you need. Yes it is in the book store, but nestled in this lovely books store, past the curious is a cafe with great taste, in both food and employees. Serving up hot breakfasts, tasty toasty sandwiches and amazing latte, the cafe has an amazingly friendly and cooperative staff. A staff that has been their for years. The prices are perfect, not expensive, the food is hand made to order, and their is a healthy tasty kids menu as well. Though the cafe has only 7 tables, and lunches can get busy, it's open most nights till 8. It's in a convenient location next to the DCU, and being in a bookstore, you will never lack for something to do. It is also WiFi accessible. So next time your wondering, where should we eat, and your near beautiful Westborough, stop into the Tatuck, and have a slice of cherry pie. You wont be disappointed.

How exciting to have a new italian restuarant in town. The service is great, it has a beautiful interior, the bar is open friendly and has a variety of well priced wine, the food is both reasonable and abundant along with a variety of entres and pizza that are great tasting, well presented and my compliments to the chef!! The GM is personable (actually comes around and talks and listens to the customers) and knowledgable in the business. I would highly recommend Tavolino to anyone looking for a classy, reasonable, friendly place to get a great drink and meal.
