Thank You, Avidia for Supporting the Arts! WMPA grant goes to a piano
WESTBOROUGH MUSIC PARENTS RECIPIENT OF AVIDIA GRANT
The Westborough Music Parents Association are pleased to announce that they received an Avidia Charitable Foundation grant. The grant of twenty two hundred dollars was used to purchase a digital piano for the Hastings Elementary School. It was the only school in the district that did not have a digital piano available. It will provide portability to move from room to room, allows the teacher to see the students over the piano while playing, and provides for allowing music to be read from a USB flash drive, or to be recorded to the drive. This is extremely helpful in the classroom and for performances at the general school assemblies. The DP-990 has an 88-key stereo multi-sampled piano sound with three silver-finish pedals that naturally reproduce every detail just like an acoustic grand piano. Avidia Bank is a mutual community bank with branches in Hudson, Westborough, Clinton, Leominster, Marlborough, Northborough, and Shrewsbury.
