Westborough – “Ebenezer Parkman’s Worlds: Westborough’s Minister, 1724-1782” will be presented Monday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m., by the Westborough Historical Society at the Evangelical Congregational Church, 57 West Main St. Be transported to 18th century Westborough through the life of Ebenezer Parkman, who, for 58 years, was the town’s spiritual and intellectual leader. Holy Cross History Professor Ross Beales will discuss Parkman’s ministry and family life as he described in his diary.
This is the annual Westborough Civic Club lecture presented by the Westborough Historical Society.
Northborough/Westborough – The Northborough Art Guild will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 7:30 p.m., at the 1717 Shoppe in the Westborough Shopping Center, 18 Lyman St. An exhibit of Deb Schradieck’s oil paintings and watercolors will be the backdrop for her watercolor demonstration as she reveals her techniques for creating realistic paintings with dramatic color. Her favorite subjects are waterscapes, seascapes and precise renderings of houses.
This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
