Spring 2004 Lacrosse Registration!

Beginners welcome! Experienced coaches to teach this fast, fun game

Indoor practices in March until the fields are opened; season ends in mid-June.

U15 & U13: 2 practices per week, games played on Sunday afternoons against

other towns in the Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League.

Registration is open to boys and girls; however boy’s lacrosse rules will be followed.

Note: A separate girls youth lacrosse group has started up in town.

Team size is limited; a waitlist is possible; first come, first served.

Eligibility: * Copy of Birth Certificate required at time of registration *:

o U15: cannot have turned 15 by this coming January 1st and can’t be in 9th grade.

o U13: cannot have turned 13 by this coming January 1st.

Registration Fee (U15 & U13): $125 per player (includes all March indoor rental time).

Scholarships can be arranged.

U11 Instructional Program (can’t have turned 11 by this coming Jan. 1st and must be at

least in 3rd grade). 1 practice a week planned; indoor practices in March; games or

scrimmages on most Sundays, Registration Fee is $70.

Equipment: An equipment company will be at the registration night to professionally

size and offer a specially priced equipment package for $185.

Package includes: lacrosse helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, arm pads, lacrosse stick

& mouth guard (rib pads are optional and cost extra). On a need basis, player

equipment is available for loan. No Risk: equipment buy-back may be arranged.

WYLA is a Member of the Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League

Philosophy: "There are no standings kept, no league championship or

playoffs. We play all players as equally as possible with the goal of

teaching the sport and providing a fun and positive experience for all

involved.
